How salary conversion works

Hourly pay × working hours per week × 52 ÷ 12 gives average monthly gross earnings. Monthly pay × 12 ÷ 52 ÷ working hours per week gives the equivalent hourly rate. This assumes the same paid hours throughout the year.

Worked example

TT$25 per hour for 40 paid hours a week gives TT$4,333.33 average monthly gross pay. Unpaid leave, changing schedules and overtime can change actual earnings.

Gross salary is not take-home pay

This conversion does not deduct NIS or income tax. Use the linked statutory tools and your employee’s applicable tax details when preparing a payslip.

Employer considerations

Resident employee aged 16–59 with ordinary insurable employment. Monthly NIS is an average of weekly contributions; actual contribution weeks can change the remittance. Pensioners and Class Z require separate treatment. Employer contributions are paid in addition to gross earnings; they are not deducted from an employee’s net pay.

From one employee to an entire payroll
